Vanny In Style Presents
The VanNy Artisan Collective is a nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) organization in Vancouver, British Columbia and New York City. It supports community artists by providing materials, design collaborations, manufacturing, marketing, sales and distribution of its member’s creations.
In 2005, VanNy began pairing its fine and graphic artists with its principal apparel designer Chez Noel. The result of this collaboration yielded the JéTer 2006 Spring/Summer Wearable Art Collection. The collection was launched in September at an Emergent Designers Showcase during Olympus Fashion Week, and successfully presented at BC Fashion Week in Vancouver, British Columbia in October.
VanNy looks forward to the 2008-2009 trade and showcase schedule. The VanNy AC members will partner with Emergent Canadian, African and American Designers to create another fabulous Wearable Art Collection
The Suns of Africa and VanNy will present a couture show featuring apparel by Chez Noel, Tyëknow Inc, and fabrics by Fariba Mirzaie.
